Jessica Richardson, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
A native of Forest Grove, Jessica attended Forest Grove High School and graduated as Valedictorian of her class. She then attended Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. While attending BYU, Jessica was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and received the Ira & Mary Lou Fulton Chair Student Research Grant through the College of Health and Human Performance. She also volunteered
with an international non-profit organization, the Health Education and Literacy (HEAL) Foundation, as a mobile health unit team leader where she taught health education in the slums of Hyderabad, India. She also served as an executive board member where she participated in board meetings and collaborated with other non-profit organizations.
and Outstanding Student in Audiology Award (2012). Jessica completed her clinical externship at Cardon Children’s Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona and Affiliated Audiology Consultants in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Richardson is certified through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), a member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), and licensed to practice in Oregon. Jessica is also a professional member of the American College of Sports Medicine and a certified personal fitness trainer.
Her interests include playing the piano and guitar, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending time with family.
Mark Carver, M.S.
Hearing Aid Specialist
Mark Carver received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science in 1984 from New Mexico State University and his Masters of Science degree in Systems Management in 1986 from the Florida Institute of Technology. He received his Oregon Hearing Aid Specialist
license in 2003 and has been working at the Forest Grove Hearing Center for the past 11 years. At Forest Grove Hearing Center he has been providing hearing test services, hearing aid selection and programming, counseling, cleaning and repair services, and training.
Brad C. Richardson, O.D.
Optometric Physician/Hearing Aid Specialist/Owner
Forest Grove Hearing Center was established in 1962 by Dr. Walter L. Richardson. His son, Dr. Brad C. Richardson, a second generation Optometric Physician and Hearing Aid Specialist, fit his first hearing aids in 1980 over 35 years ago.
Since that time, Dr. Brad C. Richardson continues to be enthusiastic about learning and promoting the tremendous advances that have been made in hearing instrument technology over the past decades.

Jessica received her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Science and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. As a doctoral student, Jessica was consistently recognized at national and local levels for academic excellence, exceptional clinical skills, outstanding contributions to community and the profession, and strength of character. Honors and awards she has received include the Audiology Foundation of America Outstanding Au.D. Student Scholarship (2010-2011), the Starkey William F. Austin Scholarship (2010-2011), the American Academy of Audiology Foundation Roger Ruth Memorial Scholarship (2010-2011), and the A.T. Still University Au.D. Student Excellence Endowed Scholarship (2011)
